First impression- holy shit, it sounds quite good! Review by kenzo
Quality Price Value I listen to about 10-20 hours of hi fi per week, everything from classical to country. I own two other amps, a Transcendent T8-LN tube OTL (stereophile class a rated) and a Musical Fidelity A1 2008 (class a biased amp).
Both are great sounding amps.
My speakers are Reference 3A DeCapo I.
Sources are Korg MR1 straight to amp, or a Marantz CD/DVD/DVA into Benchmark DAC1Pre then to the amp, or a Sony Vaio music server sp/dif output to the DAC.
I just got this kit assembled today - took a few hours including a run to radio shack to buy some connectors.
After testing, I connected the amp to the DeCapos. HOLY SHIT! It sounds damn good! I _immediately_ notices the sweetness of the highs and female vocals. No hint of harshness. Even the sibilance on some of the vocals seemed to be less objectionable - although not suppresed.
I stopped the playback and cranked the volume up all the way. Put my ears next to the speakers, and hears not a whisper of hum or hiss! Wow this is getting interesting!
Bass is totally there, deep and taught. Damn this amp sound quite good...
Only a month or so of careful listening will provide a deep and thorough understanding of this amp's characteristics for all types of music and listening, but first impression is VERY favorable.

Intoxicating! Review by Keith
Quality Price Value Tom from the first moment I fired this amp up I found the warm liquid sound intoxicating. I had to tear myself away from the first listening session to get to work.
Even my wife commented on how warm and musical my system now sounded.
The warm tubey sound was exactly what I was looking for, my speakers have never sounded so good. I am getting bass that I didnt know my speakers were even capable of. I never expected such a level of performance from such a bargin price point. I went on the reccomendation of a forum member as a huge skeptic but now am an avid believer. Many thanks!
