I purchased a pair of these when Team America started to push them. They are both configured as bridged monos.
The sound is exceptional, I have put these up against B&O and UCD modules. There was nothing in it, I couldn't tell them apart. I also run high bias Yamaha studio amps. The yammies have a slightly warmer sound but the Class D's have an overall presentation that is clearer. We have compared a pair of these to some seriously expensive Ultra-Fi. A pair of these modules running balanced and bridged, gave a great account in a group test of Ayre, EC and competing class D from Bel Canto.
Definitely Class D for me.
They run cool and have never missed a beat, I live in the tropics and having to run the Aircon for the amps can be seen as excessive. These have saved me a fortune in climate control, running non stop for nearly a year now. In a year they put out less heat than my yammies did in a month. They never get shut down so they are at optimum all the time.
I can't say enough good things about these amps, they are worth every cent and you are supporting a worthy cause.
Hopefully Class D can follow up with an SMPS for the amps. (Posted on 1/10/10)
