I've loved my tube mono blocs for eight years but I wanted to tidy up my living room by having my amps inside the cupboard where all my other equipment resides instead of sitting behind my speakers. The mono blocs run too hot to put in a cupboard, so I knew I would have to go solid state.

I was willing to take a hit in audio quality for the sake of convenience, so when I fired these amps up for the fist time (I bought two and am using them bridged, as mono blocs) I just hoped they would be OK enough sounding for me to keep them. I mean, at this price, how good could they be?

To make a long story short, combined with my tube preamp, these are the best amps I've ever owned. My system has never sounded better. I'm amazed each time I turn my system on. My tube amps are for sale.

I am in the process of designing enclosures that will be as nice to look at as these amps are to listen to. Thanks Tom.

Don't let the low price fool you. This is a top quality audiophile product. It replaced a pair of $3500 tube monoblocks in my system because it outperformed them in almost every way--much lower noise floor, great midrange warmth, sweeter highs, more resolving and better detail and no heat! Easy on the electric bill.

My hat's off to Tom. He puts out a very high quality product at a fraction of the price of most "audiophile" equipment these days. Even in the Class D amp market and digital amp market, his products kick serious butt.
