Our new Super D Series audio power amplifiers are built on the highly acclaimed reputation of our CDA series amps. Our goal was to keep the excellent sonic qualities while adding a state-of -the art balanced input stage (also accepts standard single ended input) and external adjustable gain controls. We've also added a better cooling system, Molex connectors for external LED's, power switch, and gain controls (included). The balanced input stage is one of the finest available and normally only found on very expensive high-end equipment. When using single ended inputs, you can change a jumper to select inverted or non-inverted input as well... useful in some instances. The gain controls included with this kit feature a conductive plastic element for ultra low noise.

Excellent performance and value Review by steve
Quality Price Value I'm using an SDS-224 for the mids and highs in a biamped system using magnepan speakers. This amp does a wonderful job on my ribbons and midrange panels. Everything jumps out of a totally black, dead quiet background. HIghs are sweet, fast and natural sounding with no edge or harshness. Mids are warm, full and have the bloom of a tube of amp but with better control and less distortion. Small, low level details come through so clear now with such a quiet background. I don't think you can beat the performance of Tom's amps at any price much less the deal he offers them at. (Posted on 5/31/10)
